Xbox 360

I've owned a 360 before, and didn't use it much, didn't have the time, but now I'm tempted all over again by the possibility of price reductions coming now that the PS3 and new Xbox 360 Elite is being released

I would still rather get a 360 over a PS3, Sony's game selection still seems a bit "cartooney" for me; and GTA was the only reason I ever bothered; but now that GTA IV will be 360 from the start then there is no need for a PS3

Agreed.
My brother just bought GRAW (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare, I think) and I'm about half way on the hardest difficulty.. Can't say alot of games match it.

I think Gears of War is another great one.
Playing that in co-op is awesome. Flicking between Gears of War and GR, you really do miss the ability to just run and duck/roll and slam into walls for cover... Having said that, GR/GRAW offers the same sort of cover system in single player mode.

If you are running Vista then sharing media with a 360 is easy - or try Tversity with it.

(Another reason to get one :-) )

When's the Xbox 360 Elite coming out? I've persuaded my wife to get me one for my birthday (May)

I'll only ever play Forza 2....

I'm not a big gamer but bought an xbox last year and have hardly put it down.

GRAW1 & GRAW2 have to be two of the best games out. I've been playing GRAW1 for over a year and thanks to multiplayer on xbox live have never got bored of it. GRAW2 is just the same but with better gameplay and more detailed maps. Can also recommend Rainbow Six & Call of duty 3...

I find that too when I play Rainbow Six then GRAW. I'm not too sure why they left it out of multiplayer (for better performance I guess). Was hoping they would add it to GRAW2 but they haven't..
