heh, the bit where you need to go through that bit of crawlspace to get the plasmid? took ages to find that; then when you get out, you've got some splicers to dael with. Easy though - just fire off an Electric Bolt and they're mincemeat
nearly finished !
tho im finding i am going back to previous levels to harvest the kids !!
on hard level i might add
excellent game - love the irish guy in it
I found the fire before I even saw the frozen corridoor, but then I did my best to explore everywhere and find all the audio diaries etc.. I'm not ashamed to say I completed it on the weekend of it's release :P
(playing on pc though; complicated/fps games on console controller ftl)

yes i agree - fps games for consoles are useless.
Tho saying that the dam copyright software is a pain. Not allowing me to play it as i dont have the correct disk?!?
installing nocd crack atm
I would get it for the PC, but the DRM stuff has really put me off. I've got games on here I've reinstalled well over 5 times since I bought them as I moved from machine to machine - if they all took this '5 installs only' DRM approach I'd have had to buy gta and quake 2 three times by now, half life twice. If it's a good game it deserves my money, but I'll want to play it again.
Saying that you can de-register your version is both impractical and sets a dangerous precedent - hard drive failures (for example) mean you can't de-register those machines, and if this were to catch on, when I need to reinstall I would have to go through the machine de-registering hundreds of games and application. And the recent google videos debacle shows what can go wrong when you buy a product that phones home to check whether you're allowed to use it.
I know and understand that content producers feel the need to protect their product, but DRM only punishes the good people who play by the rules - the very first thing to go in a hacked or pirated version will be all of this DRM crap. When will content producers realise that if you want somebody to buy rather than pirate, you have to provide something that's *better* than the pirated version, not crippled and riddled with crap-ware so that your legally purchased version refuses to work on your machine and you're forced to crack it or go get a pirate copy?
Next time, maybe they just won't bother buying the products and will go straight to the pirate version. And what about the 'buy, play and sell on' crowd - surely they're only going to hurt sales with this approach? Piracy is and always will be a fact of life for digital content - accept it and move on.
Grr, and now I'm angry! Knew I shouldn't have clicked this thread
Bought it yesterday. Stuck on the bit after melting the ice. Surgery is all blocked up, help!!
Have you got the telekinesis plasmid yet?

There's a new patch out on the 360, auto-updates when you load the game.
Also, there is an issue with the 360's cache, which was causing mine and many others game-play experience to suffer due to stuttering. If you hold down the RB and LB (buttons, not triggers), straight after booting (if auto-boot DVD is selected) or when you start the game, it'll clear the 360's cache.
Didn't stop my box from crashing yesterday just as I had arrive at Andrew Ryans office :bash:
