I got one the other week. Bloody nice things - just a shame that they try and tie you into the AAC format.

i got one a few months ago... then lost it :$

was just about ready to go and buy a new one.... when i put on a jacket that i hadnt worn since before christmas... and there it was - in the pocket!!

had turned the flat completely upside down whilst trying to find it :$

i think its a reeally nice product - it looks fairly susceptable to scratches though, so i've got a little clear rubber 'jacket' thing for it

its propper bo, i tell thee

We have/ had 2, but one got washed away in the Tsunami (was in a waterproof case too, so its probably still perfectly fine).

I found a winamp plugin to get files up to it without having to use itunes, so no more AAC anymore

Anyone know of any decent MP3 download sites? Most of the legal ones seem to just offer WMA format except iTunes of course.

iTunes can do MP3 or AAC (the default)
In terms of mp3 sites, http://www.allofmp3.com/ are, apparently legal, and damned cheap!

I had a Sony NW-HD2 until not so long ago, I didn't like it one bit!
The software was awful at best, it had to be run in a real version of windows as it refused to work in vmware.
It does not support any other format apart from there own. (ATRAC3plus etc)

Overall, I wasn't impressed! But it looks like they've ironed out a lot of the things in the NW-HD3.

I've recently got a iPod shuffle and never looked back! Works grate with my laptop :-)
