    Just done the update now...

I've not found anything wrong with it so far, I like the Lyrics option in the song information!

I installed it yesterday, it seems remarkably like iTunes 4 but with the added podcast feature. Which I doubt I'll use anyway.

The Podcast feature was there before version 5, it was on the Mac version anyhow.

Apparently, there's some dodgy syncing with Outlook for Contacts and for the Calender.

:S I'm sure i'll grow to love it. Just done a software update check again, seems there is a new itunes phone driver, I take it this must be for the new phone apple/motorola are releasing. Would be nice to see one, wont be anything as good as a normal ipod tho IMO.

I didn't notice much of a change look wise, but... i often have it minimized and use KeyTunes for changing track with key shortcuts.
I do like how it shows the time elapsed and the time remaining at the same time, most players you can only view one or the other.

Thinking about it... no difference at all in how it looks when using FoxyTunes in Firefox!

I personally dont like Itunes, it seems a tad bloated for what it is. I only installed it to upload songs to my ipod, which I found you can do via a winamp plugin.

talking of itunes, slightly off topic here.. but I have a creative zen with that crappy mediasource thing and its SOOO useless... anyone else hate it as well? Its just so badly designed with no decent features in it at all..

Gah! iTunes5 and the iPod Shuffle that I won (which was the reason I installed iTunes in the first place) decided not to talk to each other last night.

I wasted one hour of my time troubleshooting a music player and a jumped up USB memory drive.

iTunes 5 isn't as bad as v4, v4 was serious bloatware and was slow as anything, v5 seems like it's been on a diet.

I havent been using iTunes for long (couple of weeks when I got my iPod Photo) so havent really noticed much difference but iTunes 5 just seems to be a bit more "sleek" than iTunes 4 was.

I do like the added support for PodCasting though, especially as I've already got myself subscribed to a few Podcasts.
