Thread: Advice Needed

i have just been given a brand new iPod from a guy from the states and now, after using it non stop for quite a while!, it won't turn on. Before i tried to charge it the battery bar was red and so i plugged it into my PC usb port, now, after leaving it for roughly 3 hours, it refuses to turn on please help i want my music back!

is it 5th gen?

I had this, you need to use the wall charger.

Firewire may do it, but I'm not 100% on that.

have you tried letting it just go dead then reformating it?
