Thread: iPod frozen.....Help!

Other than paying through the nose, is there anything I can do about my Ipod being frozen? I can hear it stuck like a cd skipping. I have gone through all of the troubleshooting steps to restore it and reset it to no avail. At this point, the cost to repair it is half as much or more than upgrading to a new and better iPod. So, I should just suck it up and replace it, huh? Unless anyone knows of an inexpensive service shop in san diego?

Have you tried holding the menu and select button down together for 10 seconds? this will hard reset it.
