Draytek 2820N Wireless Router has ADSL Modem built in, and wireless + VPN (LAN to LAN + remote user). Easy to set up and reliable - I use them and their predecessor 2800G all over the place. For home use + basic adsl/wifi the netgear DG834 range is a good bet, but for VPN I stick with draytek. More expensive but worth the money IMHO.

Another recommendation for the Draytek 2820n routers that will meet your requirements. We install these all the time for our clients.
The 2800G has now been discontinued and is replaced by the 2820n model.

Have never really been able to say anything bad about the Draytek's, used to use them heavily for CPE that we would just send out to customers.

Easy to configure, not much to them unless you dig into them, so easy to support (great for the helpdesk )

Couldn't you use one of the cheapo linksys routers and shove dd-wrt/openwrt/etc on it?
