I have recently switched from a Netgear DG824M to a DLink DSL-G604T
Seems a decent enough router however my only current complaint is that it isn't silent running. Seems to have a fan built into it
Thanks
Richard

Wouldnt touch D-link with a barge poll personally richard, got DI-614+ here, and its constantly dropping connectivity with the modem (does it about once a week), and I havent heard many good stories with other users.

I have a 624+ - it randomly drops the network - D-Link said there is nothing wrong with it![]()
Also have a D-Link 300G+ modem which while it's ok, is a bit odd in that it has an "Accounts Management" page - where it can only store a single accountwhich must be deleted before you can edit/add a new account
Both are on the latest firmwares as well.
looking for some replacements now.

Had a d-link AP, randomly died after 3 weeks of use, needless to say i wasnt impressed. Got a linksys here now and it seems much more stable.

I was originally after a D-Link or Linksys wifi router but i then saw them in person (fortunate enough to visit a tech show where i saw them in use) and was deterred by the fans/noise.
Needless to say, thats the reason I went for Buffalo. Its totally silent.
No sound. Not a sausage

Of course my bull-bar is safe, it sits so high the old people and the children go underneath.
We install wireless networks to home and small offices. Recently stopped using D-Link as the quality of the units appear to have massive variance.
