Anyone else got it, played on it?

I know in another thread, I said I wasn't all that impressed with it initially, but now that I've got used to the controls (takes a bit of getting used to when you keep flipping upside down and all over) it's not all that bad.

Controls are still a bit off though, I keep pressing the Z button to do a butt bash, but that fires star bits - after N64 and GC it doesn't seem right not using left hand to perfom that move. I also keep wanting Mario to move in the direction I'm pointing at as well, rather than using the control stick to control left/right.

First 6 or so stars are fairly easy though, hope it gets a bit more difficult.

Want to get it, but have no time to play it at the moment. Still have RE4, Zelda and Rayman sitting in the shelf barely started, not to mention HL2:ep2 still waiting to be installed - can't really justify getting another game with that lot yet to play.

Graphically and Story-Line wise HL2:EP2 blew me away but it was annoyingly short and considering it costs almost £20 for something that will keep you amused for all of 2 hours really was a bit of a let down. Still COD4 is keeping me happy

I felt that way after ep1 - kinda "I waited how long for this?"

But this time I bought the orange box - $52 is what, about £26? TF2 and Portal were worth that on their own, so I'm looking at ep2 as more of a bonus track

Recently purchased for my eldest son, we cant get him off the damned thing now. Although on the other hand I'm pleased he's not just sat there mindlessly in front of his PC.

House mate got this the other weekend. Not had a chance to play on it yet - he seems rather glued to the screen.. good sign anyway!
