Custom Gaming software - any ideas ?

I have a customer whose business is in a very narrow and specialist field, and basically you can sum it up as technical training. He produces multimedia type clips that his customers download via FTP. He´s asked me if I can find anyone who might be able to develop this so that the presentations are interactive, like a video game, that can be run online. The learning experience is playing the game, I guess. I haven´t the first idea where to start, so I´m looking to see if anyone wants to take this on (development and then hosting - my servers are basic mail and web)

My first feeling is that the cost will be prohibitive, but I´m honor bound to ask on his behalf. I´ll pass on anything I get from here, but he will make contact direct, if he decides to go with it.

Well, budget discussions are going to be between him and potential suppliers, neither he nor I could even begin to guess.

He´s aware of the long term consequenses, plus his target market are not budget conscious.

If anyone wants me to pass on their details, let me know. As I am genuinely out of my depth with this, I really have nothing to input.

they develop fairly advanced flash games. sounds like the sort of thing you're after?

It doesn't have to be online, I suppose. I am passing all this info on to him, I think me being in the middle would just complicate the issue, it's really out of my normal field.
