Hello, I am in need of high spec. Windows 2003 server and it must be hosted in the UK. This server will be used for hosting gameservers and one FTP server for clients to upload their files to, which could be in the form of TCAdmin on Bulletproof FTP server.

The games we are intending to host are such like Counter-Strike and mods along with other Source engine games like Counter-Strike Source and Day of Defeat Source. We would also need to host COD, COD2 and BF2 servers as well.

Given that, the minimum spec I am really looking for is a Dual Core 4400+ with 2GB RAM, due to the nature of this server, high bandwidth is essential whether it is in the form dedicated gaming bandwidth or atleast 1000GB data transfer. The Hard Drive does not need to be large, but somewhere around the 80GB mark would probably suffice.

In conclusion, I am looking for a server of minimum spec of a Dual Core 4400+ with 2GB, with high bandwidth allocation and includes Windows Server 2003.

I have received an offer for a Dual Core 4400+ with 2GB RAM with unlimited gaming bandwidth for £130 per month so I am looking for something around that area.

I know more or less what I need and what hardware can handle. No, not all on one server, but i certainly need a server that can cope with atleast a full one of the above games. ie one 64 man BF2 server, one 60 COD2 server etc.

If this quote is so low then I think I might as well go with that.

Nah, from my experience Jolt are offer priced and under-supported.

I've had 2-3 offers now from round and about, if they want to make themselves public then its up to them, not me.
