Data Center Map v2
Just launched the new version of Data Center Map with a lot of improvements and new functionality such as IP transit presence, direct quote service, company profiles etc.
If you've got any comments or suggestions, I'm all ears

Looking very nice - not sure if I'm doing something wrong though, but it always flips me back to the global view after looking at a profile.

What browser do you use and does it happen after you close the bubble, or do you click the "View profile" link so that you are transfered to see the entire profile? It shouldn't happen in the first scenario, but in the second it's normal behaviour.

It says "upstreams and peers" on the public part ( here), although the tab is just called Upstreams to keep it short. I'll update the text in the control panel, and if there are any suggestions for an alternative word to upstreams for the tab please let me know.
Sorry about the prefixes, I'm not much of a network guy to be honest, would defining it as "originated prefixes" instead of just "prefixes announced" make it more correct?

Although a little typo for you:
Need a quote for IP transit? Save the hazzle of contacting individual suppliers by using
Hassle I think is the word...

when you come back to edit the dc's you supply transit to - it adds the new one ok, and blanks out all the existing dc's you have in the list...
and it removes all the looking glass detail when you come back to view the AS#

Sune.
You cannot edit a datacentre. If we go to ours, log in, choose edit datacentre and the highlight the link for Leeds it takes you to the same profile page an EU would see rather than anything we can edit.
Also a question I guess. What is the building add/edit option for, we don't appear to have a building. Is that why we can't edit the DC?

You need to click the "Edit" link to the right in the table to edit it, if you click the name then you will just view the profile as it is. I have made the edit link bold&blue now, so that it isn't that easy to overlook.
Regarding the buildings it's for companies renting out raw data center space to multiple tenants, but not offering co-location at cabinet level. Typically it would be real estate developers, so you don't need to have a building listed to have a data center listed.

I get your point, but can't see any way to easily change it unfortunately you can open the profiles in a new window to avoid it. Alternatively, if you use the area specific maps (for example London) you won't have to zoom all the way in when going back.
