its certainly available at the 35 exchanges they have kit, dont know about the others, need a postcode and phone no to check

They dont do residential 3Mbps connections, but they do business DSL connections upto 155Mbps.

Actually, they are upgrading all their clients connections early next year, 300Kbps will become 1Mbps, 750Kbps will become 2Mbps and 1.5Mbps will become 3Mbps.

Btw RobBentley, you sure it wasnt a Telewest cable connection that was 3Mbps, they are currently the fastest home connections with fairly wide availability (lets face it, Bulldog only offer 4Mbps in London atm, im on their fastest nationwide residential connection and its 2Mbps).

Indeed they do do business dsl connections, and not so long ago they used to call them leased lines even though it was just HDSL. Talk about milking it. Are you sure they do DSL up to 155Mbps though? I didn't think DSL could go up to that high? Surely if someone wants that much bandwidth it would make more sense to provide it over a more appropriate medium.
Mind you with ntl, not a lot surprises me, we were one of the first in the uk to get a connection from them on a 34meg bearer.... it was quite entertaining watching them learn how to do it. I'll give them their dues though.. their cable modem connections are top notch, lots of people i know that used DSL previously but who are now on Cable would hate to have to go back.

BlueYonder do a 3Mbps home connection, im sitting on one now.
Also there has been a launch of 8Mbps ADSL available in certain UK area's: http://www.ukonline.net/8000/
