Hi,
I was wondering if some of you could review http://www.highlandwebhosting.com to give me an idea of what you think of the prices in relation to the services.
Thanks in advance for your opinions!

what do you plan to do if 10 people want to actually use their 15gb allowance on the '15,000mb' plan? take $120 revenue per shared hosting server? Letalone backup costs etc
might be worth thinking about![]()

I think you offer to much diskspace for bandwidth, I would use all that space and that 15GB would be downloaded tons of times so I don't think you are giving enough bandwidth for the amount of space you offer. So what I am saying is you are offering way to much space, no one would use it all and if they did then they wouldn't have enough bandwidth therefore they would be on a dedicated server! But about your design, well that gradient in the header is very old school its ugly! You have a totally flat layout then boom a big ugly sticking out header ruins it is what I think.

The servers are all managed, and as such there won't be any problems if there are 10 people using the total available space in their packages. Back ups are done daily too.
As for the bandwidth issue that Fuzzlepop raised, if the bandwidth with the package isn't sufficient, there are add-ons available to buy once the package has been purchased. These are (i feel) excellent value for the item that is purchased.
As for the theme, i agree with you on that one. I didn't really like it myself, but thought it would be a way to get the site going. It has now been redesigned, the links are much more relevant to what the user clicks on, and everything has been brought under the domain name as was pointed out by Andyb28 (Thanks for that!)
I'd like to thank everyone for their comments, and i hope i'll get some more feedback on the changes that i've made.

Yes it is, but everybody has to start somewhere.
I wasn't passing judgement... and You're right... everybody has to start somewhere.... (just don't ever mention webnetics to me!!!)
I know you weren't passing judgement.
It's a way for me to "get my feet wet" so to say before i decide whether or not to go it alone with my own equipment etc. if you know what i mean.
Sure thing... Just keep in mind that running a resellerspanel account, and running your own hosting business (with Kit that YOU look after, and clients that YOU support) are 2 very different things....
Make sure also that you can scale up (or move to a new host) if and when you grow to the next level... I'd hate to see your hard work benefit nobody but resellerspanel.
I agree with the differences between the two (reselling and going it alone), but as far as reselling goes, i feel that RSP are the best for what i need. Obviously we'd all love to be out there doing it ourselves, but for the ones just starting out it's the perfect first rung on the ladder.
I think i'll be with RSP for a long time before i can get going on my own, and to be honest i don't have any regrets with signing up with them.
