error loading callback data
Hi
I'm fairly new to web hosting.
I have some web space but the other day all the folders in my folder manager disappeared and I cant upload any files to me web space.
When I click on the only folder left a box pops up saying "error loading callback data"?
Any ideas how I can resolve this?

Best bet is to speak to your web host, they should know the answer - although I'm sure a few hosts who use Helm will be able to give you an answer, it's likely to not be something you can fix yourself and your host will have to do it anyway. Good luck.

There were some bugs like this in the Helm4 file manager a while ago - but there's been a load of updates since then...

A lot of updates and still over 300 in the bug tracker last time I checked. The voting process for "fixes" is ridiculous too. To my mind if it needs fixing then lets get on with it. And the billing and sign up engine is one of the worst, but oddly last week our good "friends" at WHA sent a offer on a discount on WHCMS as if to rub salt in the wound. Or alternatively insteading of brokering such deals they could actually fix their software!

lol, you're kidding, surely? Talk about admitting that your product is broken and you can't be bothered to fix it.

Absolutely not. There are 80 bugs re the sign up and CC integration module at the moment, and here is their "offer"
I wanted to let you know about a significant new integration between Helm 4 and WHMCS.
WHMCS is the complete client management, billing & support system for web hosts. Coupled with the Helm 4 control panel it supports automatic account creation, automatic suspension when an account becomes overdue, automatic activation when a client pays an overdue invoice, automated package upgrades & downgrades and account terminations.
In addition to Helm 4's features, WHMCS supports over 40 different payment gateways, 10 domain registrars, the 2 most popular fraud detection services and all the features you'd expect from an advanced client management & billing system. The solution also comes with comprehensive support features for your clients including a support ticket system, knowledgebase, downloads area & server status overview making it the truly complete solution for the web hosts of today.
Helm users are entitled to a launch offer promotion of 15% off monthly licenses using the coupon code "XXXXXXXX" at http://www.whmcs.com/order.php.
And if you are really bored, try this thread too!

That file manager issue isn’t affecting everyone, it doesn't seem to matter which server the user is on.
We spent close to £700 on helm licenses and support. Moving from Hosting Controller v7.
Since we migrated users to helm we have had no bandwidth or disk reporting, the issue has been open for 40 days with no resolution it has been confirmed as a software bug but there we go. I will update our ticket for the reporting issue later today and drop level 2 a call on Monday i have been promised a fix for over two weeks, the latest beta change log looks very very interesting, some quite major fixes for reporting.
Hosting Controller v7 had several security issues two being critical and after 2 months of waiting they were not fixed, so the decision was made to switch to Helm 4. It is far superior to HC v7 but still has some quite major issues, all i want is working reporting and the http API to have some billing features so we can sort autosignup.

Yeah tell me about it, we sell some "close to the bone" home packages with limited transefer and are currently being stuffed by a number of users with regard transfer due to no reporting. This is ridiculous and we bought out licenses then H4 was (finally) released in (ish) Nov 06.. And still it doesn't report transfer.. The sign up scripts we have working with Protx but they are damn scruffy and I consider the "cheap" offer of WHCMS that WHA offered a week or so ago an absolute p**s take on behalf of WHA.. But I (probably like yourself) have got myself into a position where I have invested so much time I am loathed to change (again)... interested in your thoughts tho!
Oh and like you site "Every account also includes an easy-to-use Control Panel that allows you to easily manage your account via a point-and-click interface from Webhost Automation called Helm 4" - Yeah if it actually had any manuals!

Level 1 managed to find the problem with file manager, so that’s now fixed, saved me waiting until Monday, level 1 are quite persistent in solving issues!
I reckon its possible to use part of the Helm 4 HTTP API to do the autosignup and then call the stored procedures for the rest of it. You can create accounts and add packages but billing you can't really do through the HTTP API so looking at the database there are some sprocs that look like they can do the job, it is just a matter of testing and making sure all the data needed is in the database.
This is something i will be working on this week, if i have any success i will let you know!
