Can anyone recomend a dell server ideal for shared hosting for windows server 2003 enterprise edition

Depends on what kind of load you are going to be putting on it, how much redundancy you need, and what your budget is.

Generally, for a low end - not particularly redundant option i'd go for the R200.

Also, if you're going to be colocating the server, i'd stay away from the SC1435/25 as the power draw will be expensive.

what do u mean the power draw would be expensive "define power draw"

One of the things that you are paying for with colocation is the amount of power a server uses. The Dell server you mentioned are notorious for using lots - therefore the cost of colocating the server goes up by quite a margin.

Eg, 1435 ~1amp (maybe, i'm guessing), R200 ~0.3amps
