Reseller account for large number of domains
I am looking for a UK hosting company, with server physically in the the UK to host a lot of domains. Initially maybe 200, eventually perhaps 1000+. They are .com, .net, .org's
Many of the domains have simple placeholder sites with 3 or 4 pages. They use PHP to do include's and that sort of thing, but are otherwise quite basic.
The rest of the domains are generally PHP content based sites of various sorts. Most require a MYSQL database. They do generally use the CURL functions in PHP if that's relevant (to retrieve some content from data feeds).
I do NOT care about white labelling.
Webspace is NOT enormous. Not counting MySQL, it's currently less than 1Gb. I do not anticipate it ever being more than 5Gb
Bandwidth is not enormous. Anticipate less < 100 Gb per month even when expanded. There are some downloads (ebooks and software - all in compliance with copyright law), but it's not a significant proportion of the total traffic across all the sites.
The other main requirement is that I should be able to add sites for new domains (and remove sites) at will without having to wait/contact the hosting company each time.
Obviously I would prefer a reliable & established & honest company.
I have been looking at UK reseller hosts, and am having some difficulty finding many good alternatives, because a lot give you say hosting for 100 domains, and then charge extra per domain after that --- or extra per MySQL database, etc.
Any suggestions?
