Agreed. I feel its the job of the host to educated the user as to:
a. what unlimited really is
b. how hosting really works (what constitutes a stable server, you get what you pay for etc...)
Its hard work, but end of the day your customers will know that you're not BS'ing them, they will appreciate the level of service they can expect, and as long as you deliver that, that won't have a bad word to tell about you.

I dont see why you wouldn't want these customers as long as they pay their involves and follow the rules. Unfortunately, it does seems to go against the honest guy and customers will be lost to those claiming to offer "unlimited" resources.
The problem is that these are exactly the kind of people that don't pay their bills on time and often end up abusing the service or costing you a lot of money in support by constantly raising pointless tickets such as "why don't you support feature xyz like host abc does?" and then go and smear your name over the internet when you tell them that you can't/won't.
We don't turn away customers (unless we have avery good reason for doing so, such as a heads up from another WHC member about illegal activity or non-payment of bills), we just try not to target the markets that these people are attracted to and leave them to the HostGator/GoDaddy/1&1/Fasthosts/Streamlines of this world![]()

The word unlimited should not be used in my opinion and Ofcom should do more about company who use the word unlimited then like to use there T&C to condemm customers if they use the service.
I would state a huge amount of emails addresses available as long as they are justifiable pass a fair use policy.
