ETGlobalSolution down the pan??????

Is anyone here a customer of or know anything about ETGlobalSolution?

I've read some mixed reviews here and there, but it's currently my hosting provider and has been unavailable since the weekend and I just want to find out what's going on.

Don't want to bad mouth or anything, but it looks like the provider has just done a runner as the main website (www.etglobalsolution.co.uk) is dead as well.

Does anyone knows what's happened here? Is it just offline temporarily, or has it shut down permanently without warning?????

HELP!!!

If your website has been down since the weekend, and your providers website has been down for an extended period of time too, I would recommend looking for a new provider. If you need any help rescuing your domains please provide some details of the domain name so we can try to help you.

nameservers seem to be up
ns1/ns2 etglobalsolution.co.uk

both of which are out in the US and running cpanel/whm

Thanks for all this info! I've left it a little while before deciding what to do next (just to see if it appears back online soon). However, I've now come to accept that this hosting is no more.

I also had my POP3 account on here as well, so I guess all my e-mails and stuff has gone the same way as this "Crocket" character and disappearred.
:-(

I've not tried the IRC details listed above, but I've tried all the other ways of contacting him which have all been ignored so far. I've even tried posting questions to auctions he looks to be hosting on eBay!

I know I didn't want to bad mouth, but............

IF ANYONE READS THIS THREAD LOOKING FOR A HOSTING SOLUTION, THEN DO NOT USE ETGLOBALSOLUTION OR ANY OTHER INCARNATION OF "CROCKET'S" LITTLE BUSINESS VENTURES!!!!!! HE IS A COWBOY!!!

Aaah, now that's out of my system I'll try to find out how I can move on....

I therefore need to start looking for a new POP3 & Web hosting service. It's only a small personal site - I mainly used the storage for Webmails.

Mr Cranky (or anyone) - how do I start to rescue my domains? Will all my POP3 e-mail be lost?

yes, any data (which includes emails already delivered to your host) is likely to be lost.

domains - depends on who the registrant and admin contacts are, and what the extension is - procedures vary - cant give specific advice unless I know the domain(s)
