I would advise to email these hosts with a set of questions. See how fast is their response time. Also, check around web hosting forums on the web for their reviews.

I haven't personally used any of the above but like others have mentioned, use google/yahoo to search for reviews. Am sure you will find all the information you need there.

I've used both Goscomb and Vida host and experienced decent service and support. I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with either.

It's worth noting that Vidahost use Cpanel (may use other CP) and Goscomb use Direct Admin.
