    Software to manipulate CSV file

Can anyone recommend any software to manipulate a large CSV file?

Tried Excel and Openoffice but they're both limited to 65,536 rows which isn't enough.

I only need basic functionality to add and remove columns and to find and replace data, then I just need to re-save it as a new CSV.

    Thanks

Excel 2007 can cope with (apparently) unlimited rows.

EditPlus if you are Windows boy or as Andrew says, Excel 2007. We've opened multi hundred meg log files in Excel - but you need some serious memory and time on your hands!

Depends on the data, but you could use the Excel ODBC driver for simple ops.

I usually write my own CSV processors for these sort of things, usually in Perl. If you're on an older version of Excel and it's a straight-forward search/replace and removing certain columns, let me know more details and I can try sending over a script.

I'd probably do something similar, though in VB.Net, perhaps to throw the data into a SQL database so it can be manipulated easier.

Awk and sed are my tools of choice, or PHP/python if I need something more advanced.
