Thread: good deals on a ps3?

anyone seen any good deals on a ps3 recently? Finally given in to the urge to buy one!

I went for PS3 due to blu-ray player (and GTA 4)

I went for both, hardly play either of them.

GTA IV graphics are pretty good (had it for the 360, but it kept crashing, so took it back, now got it for the PS3) but for some reason I haven't got hooked on this one like I did all the others..

Just get CPW/AOL broadband ... *hide*

currently I have a WII gathering dust - but the wife likes the look of the fitness thing, so cant trade it in! Am thinking of the 40gb ps3 thats not backwards compatible as I hear its quiet, will use it in the living room to replace dvd player ...

I got mine from Game about a month ago. £299 with Lego Star Wars and GT5 Prologue bundled. It was a spur of the moment thing, mind, I just decided I wanted one that afternoon and didn't want to wait.

I got mine for £269 with GT5: Prologue from HMV (but using my student discount)

Glad my tax money is going somewhere deserved.

Should be getting a PS3 with an ebuyermobile contract - £25 a month for 24 months. Free phone too. Will probably sell the phone (looks like I'll get £75 for it)... works out quite well based on the numbers.
