Oh. Play also have Haze for the PS3 at £9.99 also.
Yup, I know it's supposed to be a bit crappy but hey, it's cheap

Bargains, I need some new games to keep me going over Xmas & New Year, hopefully they will be delivered in time....
Has anyone tried that little big planet? I've only seen the ads on TV and they are freaking me out a bit...

A friend of mine keeps raving about Little Big Planet, but, until it gets to about 20 quid, I'm not buying it. :P
Also, lots of reviews seem to imply it's great.
I'm not even sure it's the kind of game that I will like, so I really ought to get a demo, if there is one.

May treat myself to a PS3 for Xmas as I want to play LBP really quite badly.
GAME have a great deal on at the moment - 80GB Console, LBP, Fallout 3, Resistance 2 and Lost (which I'll see if I can swap) for £289 - bargain!
PS3 80GB Console with LittleBigPlanet + Resistance 2 + Fallout 3 + Lost - PlayStation 3 - GAME.co.uk
Although I'm sure it'll end up gathering dust under the TV like the 360 does these days as I rarely get time to play the bugger.

I bought it from simplygames.com for £25 a little while ago - not had a chance to really play it yet though But it does look nice

I've never really seen much in the PS3, my odd bit of gaming time gets put into the xbox.
Btw, I've got a unopened 360 premium (20GB, gta4) if anyone's looking for one. (Play didn't cancel it properly when ordered, then never got round to sending it back)

Got very good ratings in Games(TM) and I must admit, I was looking forward to sitting down with it over Xmas and putting a few hours in so hopefully it'll come in good.

Crikey - I've completed Fallout 3, and I couldn't put it down!
I guess we like different games ;-)

PS. I think you've had a friend request pending from me on the PS3 for aeons. :P - did you ever get Buzz?

You did the right thing - quit before you get hooked.
I also found the first hour (in the vault and finding megaton) a bit boring and frustrating, but had heard it was good, so pushed on; it took me a while to get into it, hadn't played anything like it before, and it took a while to get used to SPECIAL, perks and VATS. But when I got the hang of it, started doing quests from megaton and levelling up, I got hooked.
Despite being weeks behind schedule with my work, have still sunk several real-world days into the game - gets quite addictive. The worst bit is that I can see myself playing it all again to try out different options and different perks.

I've got Fallout 3 but it took a backseat with the arrival of Gears of War 2, amazing game which I finished in a few good sittings. Farcry 2 is another good game if you like FPS, you can wander around just like you can in Fallout 3 which is cool.

I'm a late-comer to the xbox, so am still playing through GoW1, but GoW2 is on the shelf, and Farcry 2 is in the post (£18 from play). Has been worth keeping an eye on prices for games over the past couple of months - built up quite a collection, and saved an average of £20 per game - best deal was Fallout 3 for £15. Bargain.

Go all the way to the right on the main menu, and there should be an inbox of some sort along with a friends list. I think I can re-request too, so I might do that if I turn the PS3 on tonight.
