24, Lost, Heroes

Currently my top 3 favourites on TV

I'm either a slave to the top US shows or the UK simply can't compete..

Dr Who "cares", what a load of junk
ITV's various attempts.. rubbish

I have to agree with you about Lost and 24. Heros I've not had time to watch yet but everyone who has seen it does love it.

Must say thou, the new series of Rome has been fantastic. Much better than the first!

Yeah I just started watching Heroes last night as my Sky+ was filling up so had about 10 episodes to watch.

Ended up watching 4 back to back - awesome series, probably amongst one of my all time favourite TV series thus far.

Doctor Who is OK but nothing spectacular so far, kids enjoy it though.

24 is wild this series trying to top everything by the looks with an all out nuclear war. In some cases it is becoming unplausible and I think they have struggled to fill 24 episodes when you see some blatent filling.

Lost just gets stranger but I love the format which enables the return of characters killed off at anytime and just allows the story to go wild at any point with no need for an explanation.

Also enjoying BattleStar Galactica at the moment.

Finally I've also got a planner full of Rescue Me which I've not started yet. First two series were awesome and the reviews on the third have bee good as well so probably start that when I finish off some other series.

Anyone watched Day Break as I've been recording that but not watched it yet?

Oh as you can see I am also a slave to US TV

24 and Lost I'm a fan of, but also the first series of Prison Break was surprisingly good with some good acting at times.

To balance the Atlantic divide a little, I do like Spooks, but it's a shame the seasons are so short.

My fave list at the moment ...
Heroes
Dresden Files
Battlestar Galactica
Greys Anatomy

Not had a chance to watch my DVDs of series 4 or 5 of 24 yet.

Stargate - I lost interest in the ori storyline, so the cancellation was to be expected

Lost i'm months behind on, same with Smallville.

Just about to start on Bones series 2 and Primeval.

Shows they need to bring back (IMHO)...
Joan of Arcadia
Invasion
Farscape
Babylon5

Tied first place for me would be Prison Break and 24. Although I thought the latest 24 episodes have been a bit dry in spots.

My current US downloads from itunes are Prison Break, 24 & Lost. Prison Break is currently my favorite. I haven't been that impressed with Season 3 of Lost but it's starting to pick up again.

It's the last one of Life on Mars tonight, which is a great program IMHO.. Also enjoy, Spooks, Hustle & Ultimate force which have been mentioned.

Lost, Heroes and Battlestar for me.

Lost, erm, "lost" the way for a while but is now getting back on track.

Heroes is just superb, love it, but I wish it was filmed in 16:9 and not 4:3, I find that a little annoying.

Battlestar has lost its edge but I'm hoping it starts to pick up again soon.

Three good TV programmes are enough for me as I don't want to spend too much time in front of the box.

ABC dropped invasion so it was cancelled... I liked it too.

I have yet to watch heroes and don't mind an occasional lost and I am a huge fan of 24 since day1 I am also a fan of prison break, threshold, used to be a fan of alias and stargate sg1 before they got axed, hopefully stargate universe will be as good. I do not like stargate atlantis as much.
