I totally disagree.
If I didn't submit to SE's and other
SEO stuff I do (that's not blackhat either), I'd never be able to get my domains out of google's sandbox in under 3 months & receive a
PR.
In fact for a point in question, I registered a .com 3 weeks ago and thanks to my
SEO work it's now indexed by google and other top SE's.
It has no
PR yet, (granted
PR is not as highly regarded in google's algorithm as it once was), still it does have its uses.
