Search Engine / Directory Submittion Tools & Websites

    Last updated April 10th, 2005.

    Major serach engines:

    http://www.google.com/addurl.html
    http://beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx
    https://login.yahoo.com/config/login...m/free/request
    http://dmoz.org/add.html
    http://docs.yahoo.com/info/suggest/

    Mass search engine submitters:

Be warned, by using mass search engine submitters you may end up blacklisting your website by adding it to the same search engine more then a couple times. I would recommend trying a differant webpage from the list below each week to avoid your site being banned from major search engines, such as google.

Should never submit to search engines, if they want you they will find you! You submit and you'll find it won't do anything

    I totally disagree.

If I didn't submit to SE's and other SEO stuff I do (that's not blackhat either), I'd never be able to get my domains out of google's sandbox in under 3 months & receive a PR.

In fact for a point in question, I registered a .com 3 weeks ago and thanks to my SEO work it's now indexed by google and other top SE's.

It has no PR yet, (granted PR is not as highly regarded in google's algorithm as it once was), still it does have its uses.

I was going to say, SEO isn't just leaving it for your site to get spidered... there is a whole methology behind it from what I understand which does require a large number of specialist skills.

The guys I know within PR/SEO/Online Marketing areas are making a fortune from providing these services at a corporate level..

So I totally agree to disagree with you Fuzzlepop there I am afraid..

If your really good at SEO, Corps. hand over bags of cash

I've been contemplating offering my services just to get domains out of google's sand box. Which depending on the industry, maybe a viable business venture.
