Q&A:

Is this really unmetered and unshared?
Yes, we put 20 servers to every 2gig's, and we have no congestion in our network infrastructure, plenty of bandwidth to support it - so you can max out your 100mbit at any time - that's a guarantee!

Where are the servers based?
They are in our London, UK top-of-the-line InterXion datacenter, so far at 100% uptime since we moved there in 2006.

Tell me about your network?
It's really good

Cogent/HE free, 100% uptime for years now, un-congested and with great pingtimes: just ping - Online ping - Online web-based ping: remote ping a server or web site using our network with 34 checkpoints worldwide!

What is the catch?
Well, there isn’t one – if any, it would be that we do not up/downgrade the boxes, they have great spcs, but we are not able to change them. Also, so far we only provide them with Centos. We can put control panel’s on them though.

How about Support?
Well, servers are unmanaged (you can add supremesupport.com for another 29/mo), but we have guys in the DC 24/7/365 to deal with any issues you may have. Avg replytime is well below 30 mins for dedicated servers.

Do you have an SLA?

What happens after these 40 are sold?
Then you are out of luck, we are not planning to get more of them.

Can a 1.6Ghz Atom cpu actually fully utilise a 100meg pipe? (Just curious actually)

IF you do filehosting, static (images etc) content or similar stuff you could easily max it out...but for dynamic sites? Honestly not.

Sounds good. I'm still wondering about what sort of spec to build a esxi server out of for some mates who want to run a couple of trixbox instances on...

Trixbox and Asterix don't run well on VMware. Depends on your usage I guess but a customer that does alot of VOIP tried to do it and it didn't work very well.
