[Europe] 7 years StarGate / 30 blow-out hosting accounts [/Europe]

Celebrating our 7 years anniversary (I founded StarGate IT Systems LTD in November 1996) we have setup a UK based server (european bandwith, 2 hops from european lynx exchange!) for 30 lucky hosting accounts only; you will be one of only 30 clients on the entire server (normally ~150-200)!!!. The uptime we can promise you is 100% - yes 100%!
Our Rack i.e. our servers have not sustained any unsheduled downtime at all since we put them into operation.

- 500MB (0.5GB) space
- 5GB bandwith allowance / 10mbit port speed (Level 3 / UUnet / MFN)
- Unlimited email accounts
- 1 FTP account
- PHP/CGI enabled
- 1 MySQL database (we have no problem to allow/create more on demand)
- WebMail / WebAlyzer
- Plesk PSA Control Panel

Pricing:
4 Euros / month on yearly payment - 48 Euros per year
5 Euros / month on half-yearly payment - 30 Euros per 6 months
6 Euros / month on monthly payment - 6 Euros per month
NO SETUP FEES!
Since this is a limited, special offer it will not run over our usual ModernBill / PaySystems Payment Gateway but via PayPal only.

Email sales@stargate.hm with 7YSG in the subject line and make sure to include your:
- Domain name
- Desired password (CP access / FTP)
- Your name and/or company name
- Your country of origin
- Wether you would like to use our DNS service or not
- The payment plan you chose
and direct your payment to paypal@allsol.biz and please include your domain name (!) in the "notes" field.
We will usually set you up within an hour after payment was received

We also offer for free with each account our DNS service (www.dns.hm) for your domain rather then generic nameservers. That means f.e. that your domain can move easily from one server to another without changing nameservers and of course no downtime.

I take it your 2 hops from "lynx" is your uk2.net gear? or do you have boxes with other/ better providers now?

I have no reason for another provider. For almost a year now UK2 has been nothing but great for me. I had to face several issues and they always responded where needed in a timely fashion. The bandwith is very solid and fast and the only downtime I had was me myself messing up a server

I never had such a good internet connectivity before in my hosting-life. Maybe other UK-providers are only ONE hop from the "lynx"(lol) exchange but with their prices I could not even offer this deal for triple the money...

Yes. I had to fix a small PHP script in PHP3 cause this is the only PHP you can install there (on a RaQ 2) which gives me a mask (mydomain.com like) and it adds to the DNS file.

There was a company named SquareInternet, were also located in UK2.net I believe. They went bust. The company went, as did peoples money. Including my own, I had a single site hosted there. Lost £40 as I paid yearly.

Mate, I have no idea what you are talking about. There are dozens of "StarHost"s out there. In fact my company (a REAL company btw and not what is commonly called "company" on the net and is nothing but a domain name and a 14 year old who "runs the company") is called "StarGate IT Systems LTD" and I just thought that the hosting part should be called "StarHost" therefore...

Heh, of course. What good is 2 hops from Linx when you have a 64kbps line behind it :P

It is just that before on my US servers I had like 13-18 hops and now I have 8 or less and the ms are cut in third too.

if it's not too late to do so, i'd *distance* myself from the name starhost if i were you - there are a *LOT* of angry/confused/ripped-off cutsomers still out there - and they *were* are real co, still went down the pan though.

maybe update it to something like "StarHost - a divisison of StarGate IT Systems Ltd" and be prepared for lots of ppls demanding refunbds for something you never sold them !
