We are pleased to announce the introduction of our new FREE forum hosting package, ideal for those who want to host a forum without signing up for a hosting package. Upon successful completion of the signup form on our site, we will set up your free forum, usually within an hour of signup. The benefits of our FREE forum hosting package are:
• Free hosting of a phpBB bulletin board, kept up to the latest version at all times by us automatically;
• Unmetered webspace & data transfer;
• We can install new themes for your forum on request;
• When your community grows, you can easily move your forum to one of our paid hosting packages;
• Your forum will always be free, and you will never be forced to upgrade or pay;
• You receive a free subdomain (yoursite.cant-read-the-rules.com) to use with your forum, although if you have your own domain name this may be used instead by request;
• Hosted on extremely fast web servers;
• Regular database backups.
We insist that all free forums abide by the following regulations:
• We will place one Google text banner advertisement on the top of all of your forum pages (728 x 90 in size), and one small "Forum hosted by Hartserver" banner at the bottom of all of your forum pages;
• We will only allow forums with content in English at this time;
• We will not install any hacks or modifications on to your forums for you, although if the hacks or modifications are made by yourself you can send us the files and we will upload them for you;
• We will not allow forums which contain illegal or offensive material, such as, but not limited to warez, hacking tutorials, pyramid schemes, credit card fraud, mp3 or filesharing, anime sites or any forums containing pornography or any adult material, drug-related sites, sites offering illegal downloads of software, piracy, cracks, or other illicit material. Sites containing these topics or content will be deleted without notice;
• You will not have any FTP access to your forums, although you will be granted with and admin account and access to the phpBB administration panel;
• Your forum will require at least one new post every 30 days to remain active.
So long as you abide by the rules above you are free to host your site for as long as you like, completely free of charge! All free forum users will also have access to our usual support methods should problems occur.
