How long has SynergyWorks been in business?
SynergyWorks started business is July 2001 as has grown from a simple Shared Hosting provider to a colocation and dedicated server company. We now provide services to other hosting companies, software development companies nationwide & shared hosting to home/business users.
Where are the servers located?
We host our servers in Redbus Sovereign House, London Docklands and Maidenhead, Berkshire. We have rackspace on the first floor of Sov, and backup servers in the PoundHost datacentre in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The servers are owned and managed by ourselves and connect to our internet feed via our Managed NetGear Gigabit switches.
What happens in the event of a hardware failure?
We currently keep stocks of common items such as hard disks, raid controllers, processors & power supplies (etc) which can be replaced very quickly in the unlikely event of a fault. If the server is your own colocated box we can perform hardware replacement at the hourly rate of £35/hour.
