Its Snow Joke

After much deliberation with myself

I have added SNOW

I can here you all grumbling

As many of you have noticed in the past, snow effects on forums cause high CPU usage.

Well after sampling each of the different effects, I settled (no pun intended) on this effect

As far as my Task Manager CPU/process graph shows it has almost ZERO effect on the CPU

I may be wrong, but I don't think I am

*tuts* getting fluctiations between 10 and 16% cpu usage (intel p4, 3.0 ghz) Im sorry richard - this isnt on

Much better than last years

Although perhaps only have it on main pages?

Tis a very good point, will sort it out later on tonight

Compromise time

Default style is the Winter Style, however you can change this either by:

1. setting it in your user control panel
2. use the Quick style chooser dropdown box at the bottom left of the page

There are a couple more choices
