Currently running Beta2 of Longhorn Server on my 'test box'. I have to admit I do like the new layout of IIS7.

I heard a rumour that a version of IIS7 is going to be released for 2k3, but not necessarily with all the features that could be access in Long horn... can't remember where I heard that though.

LDAP would be extremely useful as long as they support it on the 2k3 installations of IIS7!

Last I heard IIS7 will only be available to Longhorn Server (aka Windows Server 2008)

Supposedly IIS7 has full integration with LDAP... will make management of all the systems a little easier!

apparently the security has been cracked down on, compared to that of 2003, maybe it might be secure for once!

IMHO Win2K3 is pretty secure already when setup correctly.

I am looking forward to working with IIS7 in Longhorn server, as that is looking like a major step forward, pity it's not going to be avilible for Win2K3. But if it was that would be one less feature to make people upgrade to Microsoft's latest server OS in 2007!
